How everything works.

From connecting your camera to publishing the finished video, this is the visual guide to the main KIPZO tools. Each section shows the control or workflow you will see inside the studio.

Connect your camera & microphone

Choose the camera and microphone you want KIPZO to use, then allow your browser permission. KIPZO shows a live preview and microphone level so you can check everything before recording.

  • Choose your webcam or connected camera.
  • Select the correct microphone.
  • Use noise suppression and echo cancellation where available.

Add the video you want to react to

Upload a video from your device. Once loaded, KIPZO can place it beside you, underneath you, full screen or as a floating reaction window depending on the layout you choose.

  • Your uploaded video stays under your control.
  • Playback can be paused and resumed while recording.
  • Source video volume can be lowered independently from your microphone.

Choose the size & layout

Pick the final video shape first, then choose how your camera and content are arranged. KIPZO supports vertical Shorts/Reels/TikTok, landscape YouTube, desktop and square formats.

  • Host Focus for a large creator view.
  • Content Focus for a large source video.
  • Split and 50/50 for classic reaction layouts.
  • Collab for a live guest.

Control the reaction video while you record

The floating/uploaded source video has its own playback strip outside the recorded picture. Pause it, continue from the same point, jump back or forward, restart it and adjust its volume without those controls appearing in your finished video.

  • Pause / resume from the current position.
  • Skip back 5 seconds or forward 5 seconds.
  • Use the timeline to move to another point.
  • Lower the source volume so it does not overpower your voice.

Record the whole reaction

When the scene looks right, press Record. KIPZO combines your camera, the source video, microphone audio and the active layout into the finished recording.

  • The recording timer stays outside the video.
  • KIPZO's watermark is baked into applicable finished recordings.
  • What appears inside the canvas is what viewers see.

Review, edit & export

After recording, play the finished video back before you publish it. Download the MP4 to your device or continue into the publishing workflow.

  • Preview the complete recording.
  • Use editing tools where needed.
  • Download the finished MP4 as your own copy.

Publish directly to YouTube

When your YouTube account is connected, add a title and description, choose the visibility and upload the finished KIPZO video without leaving the studio.

  • Choose Private, Unlisted or Public.
  • No-edit recordings can upload without an unnecessary second render.
  • Edited videos are prepared before upload.

Invite a live guest with Collab

Choose Collab from the layout options. KIPZO creates a QR code that your guest scans with their phone. They allow camera and microphone access and join the reaction with you.

  • One host + one live guest in the current stable version.
  • The guest joins without needing the full desktop studio.
  • The host keeps control of the recording.

Use KIPZO for gaming reactions

Gaming Mode keeps the game or shared screen as the main content while your creator camera stays visible. The same recording and layout tools can be reused for gameplay, team reactions and commentary.

  • Share your screen or game view.
  • Keep your face camera visible over gameplay.
  • Record the combined composition in one pass.

Browser requirements

Use a current version of Chrome, Edge or another modern browser. Camera, microphone and screen sharing require browser permission and HTTPS.

Audio tip

Use headphones when possible. Set the reaction video volume lower than your microphone so your voice remains easy to hear.
