Privacy Policy
KIPZO is a browser-based tool for recording, editing, saving and publishing reaction videos. This policy explains what information the service may process when you use those features.
Information you provide
If you create an account, we process the email address and account information needed to sign you in. If you save a project, the service may store the project metadata, editing information and video files you choose to save.
Camera and microphone
Camera and microphone access is requested by your browser only when you choose to connect those devices. Live camera and microphone media is used to create your reaction recording. KIPZO does not claim access to devices when you have not granted permission.
Video files and projects
Videos you select or create can be processed in your browser. When you choose features such as Save to My Projects or direct social publishing, the relevant finished or project video may be uploaded to private cloud storage so that the requested feature can work.
Connected social accounts
If you connect YouTube, TikTok or another supported platform, you will be sent to that platform to grant permission. Access and refresh tokens are stored server-side and are not intentionally exposed in the browser. We use the permissions you grant only to provide the connected publishing features you request.
Service providers
KIPZO currently uses service providers including Vercel for website hosting and Supabase for authentication, database functions and private project/video storage. Connected social platforms process information under their own privacy policies when you authorize or publish to them.
How long information is kept
Saved projects remain associated with your account until they are deleted or the service applies a storage-retention rule. Social connection credentials remain until they expire, are revoked, or the connection is removed.
Your choices
- You can use core recording/editing features without granting social-platform access.
- You can deny or revoke camera and microphone permission in your browser.
- You can delete saved projects from My Projects.
- You can revoke third-party permissions through the relevant social platform.
Children and accounts
The service should only be used in accordance with the age requirements of KIPZO and any connected social platform. Parents or guardians should supervise use where appropriate.
Security
We use account authentication, private storage and database access controls designed so signed-in users can access only their own saved projects. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
This policy may be updated as KIPZO adds features, providers or legal requirements.
