What order should a ranking video play?
A countdown usually starts at the lowest shown rank and works toward #1.
To make a ranking video, start with a topic people can understand immediately, choose short clips that fit that topic and decide the order before you begin building. The editor should then be used to present that decision clearly rather than to rescue an unclear idea.
Pick the ranking count, upload one finished clip for each position, write a few words beside each rank, choose a number style, add a top title, select transitions and create the final countdown from the lowest rank to #1.
Good premises are specific. “Ranking funny moments” is broad; “Ranking the funniest goalkeeper fails” tells the viewer exactly what is being judged. Specific topics also make it easier to pick clips that belong together.
Decide whether the ranking is based on humour, skill, shock value, usefulness, difficulty or another clear criterion.
Trim each clip before importing it so the action starts quickly. Then decide the final order. The first clip should be good enough to stop the scroll, while the later positions should create a reason to keep watching.
Do not automatically save every strong clip for the end. If the opening is weak, viewers may never reach #1.
Choose one number pack and a colour that stays readable. Add a very short label beside each rank and use text size only as large as necessary.
Position the whole block where it does not cover the main action. In KIPZO the numbers and labels can move and resize together so the columns stay aligned.
Add a fixed top title so a silent viewer understands the topic immediately. Choose a transition that fits the pace: cut for speed, fade for softness or fade to black for a stronger separation.
Create the final ranking video, review the result and export in a platform-friendly vertical format. Check the first second carefully because startup delays are more noticeable in short-form video.

It can. Persistent text helps the viewer remember previous positions and compare the final list.
Long enough to understand the moment, but short enough that the countdown keeps moving. Trim unnecessary lead-in and dead time.
A simple cut or short fade is usually enough. The clips should remain the focus.
KIPZO Ranking Video Builder lets you choose 3–7 ranks, upload a clip for each position, add per-rank text, pick a number pack and colour, move and resize the ranking block, add a top title banner, choose clip transitions and create the finished vertical video in your browser.
